Márton Bubreg - saxofon
Bence Bubreg - klarinet
Linda Bubreg-Dobay - varhany
As in the case of the Concert of the Laureates of the Broumov Key Competition, the concert in Teplice nad Metují is dedicated to the young generation. The festival has long been supporting the young generation and provides space for young talented artists.
The Bubreg duo consists of brothers from Tyrol, clarinetist Bence Bubreg (* 2001) and saxophonist Márton Bubreg (* 2004). They have already debuted at Carnegie Hall in New York, and this year they will have their first performance at the Wiener Konzerthaus. Bence Bubreg studies clarinet at the Tyrolean State Conservatory with Maximilian Bauer and Márton Bubreg saxophone at the Munich Academy of Music with Koryuna Asatryan.
Bubreg's siblings won several major awards at various international competitions in Japan, Italy, France, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Austria and Croatia. Márton debuted at the age of 10 at the Innsbruck Summer Festival with the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra as the youngest soloist of all time. In 2017 he won the Grand Prix des Tiroler Klassik Instrumentalistenpreises as the youngest contestant. Bence has won the Jeunesse Special Award (2017) for his outstanding artistic achievements.
