Both are the players of the best Czech symphonic orchestras, Zuzana Rzounkova is the solo hornist of the Prague Symphony Orchestra and Professor at Janáček University of Art in Brno. Jan Vobořil is the solo horn player of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Finnish horn player Esa Tapani graduated from Helsinki Conservatory and Sibelius Academy, led by Leena Heikkila, Timo Ronkainen, Michael Hoeltzel, Dale Clevenger, and Hermann Aumann. Since 1986 he was a member of the Avanti! Chamber music ensemble specializing in modern music. The concert is the culmination of the side festival programme, Summer Horn Courses, which will bring young horn players from Japan, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic to Broumovsko from 5-11 August 2018. The growing interest for the Summer Horn Courses, what will be organised for the fourth time this year, is a mark of the attractivity of the invited lecturers, the top programme and the uniqueness of the venue.
